The place is ok I guess for the price. Rooms are quite small. There was almost no space to layout the luggage. There is a small bar/coffee shop in the lobby but it’s hardly ever manned. Breakfast was just ok. Location is great and very close to shops and restaurants in Dotonburi. I will not stay here again though.

Excellent hotel, staff were incredibly helpful when I needed to forward my bags to the next hotel. Rooms are large and spacious and very close to Universal and shops would definitely stay again.

The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. I gave it 2 stars, and I have stayed in 3-star hotels before that were still much cleaner than this one.
There was also a very strong cooking smell as soon as we walked into the room, which suggests that many guests cook in the room and that the kitchen has not been cleaned properly. There was dust around the edges of most areas, and the utensils were dirty, so we had to hand wash everything before using them.
The beds were also very uncomfortable, which I often find to be the case with accommodations that include kitchen facilities.
On the positive side, the washing machine was very useful and convenient. Most of the front desk staff are non-Japanese so everyone can communicate very well in English.
