"The owners were so enjoyable, they only spoke broken English but we were able to converse. The facility is a traditional Japanese inn, so sitting in the floor and sleeping on futon. Suggest using two futon if you are not so l used to sleeping in the floor. The air conditioning was great cause it was hot outside. "This was my second stay at the Richmond Hotel-Tokyo Musashino. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Kichijoji area of Tokyo. It is within any easy walking distance of Mitaka Station. Their buffet-style restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is reasonably priced and the buffet has an abundance of selections. My room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my 2 week stay there."

"The advantage of this location is its proximity to the subway and Futako Tamagawa. It’s an area of Tokyo with few hotel options. Staff were available to answer questions about room appliances. We shopped for breakfast items upon arrival. We were able to have breakfast in the room because it was equipped with 1 pan, plates, silverware and a microwave. I also used the washing machine even though staying only 1 night."
