"We had a wonderful stay at Aka Lodge!
From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of. The staff picked us up at the pier and drove us directly to the hotel, which is beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. Our room was excellent.
But what really made our stay special was the amazing staff. Everyone was professional, genuinely friendly, and incredibly service-minded. The chef prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners, and whenever we needed help, recommendations, or advice about the...

"This was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The room was incredibly spacious and had every amenity I could think of. The view from the room was stunning and the staff were helpful and friendly. The fact that it shares a parking lot with a Family Mart only adds to how fantastic this place is. I only wish I’d had more time to stay here during my vacation."

Pristine beaches with crystal-clear waters invite you to snorkel among vibrant coral reefs and tropical fish. Hike up to Aguni Observatory for panoramic views of the island's dramatic coastline and neighboring Tonaki Island.
This was one of the best experiences we have had traveling! The staff was so friendly and so nice and willing to help with everything we needed. The breakfasts and dinners were fantastic. The hotel was also an easy two minute walk from Aharen beach and less than that for a walk to the store and island restaurants. Couldn’t recommend this more! We will hopefully make our way back here some day in the future.

This is a very large hotel. Unfortunately we experienced the distant typhoon, making our experience dissapointing. The front desk was not very accommodating when I was unhappy with my room. I agreed to stay in any of their buildings to have the view I desired. They told me EVERY room was booked. I don’t think so… offseason and a typhoon ??!! I do not like massive, mediocre accommodations in general.

We loved staying here! Our room was gorgeous with a comfy outdoor sofa and a stunning view of the ocean. The amenities provided were amazing. They give face masks, bath salts, and also have a 5 step skincare routine that guests can use. The shampoo and conditioner also did great things for my hair. We came back to a clean and refreshed room every night which is great for when Okinawa is hot and humid!

Awesome stay. Clean property, friendly staff. They were able to provide a prompt refund when the ferry was cancelled due to the typhoon. Food at the hotel itself was also super yummy.
Convenient shuttles to and fro the two popular beaches. Bike rental shop right across the street. Walkable from the dock!

Very private with exceptional service and a great location. Furniture is Japanese and the bed hard but that can be overlooked. Absolutely enjoyed the whole experience. A must for couples. Leave the kids home.

The beds we got the first nights were not very comfortable. The bed we got the second night was a bit more comfortable. The rooms were still very spacious. Would definitely stay there again .
