Hôtel exceptionnel, déco à la fois traditionnel et moderne, un joli patio vous accueille avec cet excellent parfum de fleur d'oranger (signature qu'on ressent avec bonheur un peu partout dans les parties communes), patio façon riadh pour un moment de détente autour d'un thé, une pâtisserie ou d'un petit snack. Personnel de l'hôtel au top, mention spéciale à Lahcen, Soumaya, Aziz, Hassan et toute la belle équipe profesionnelle toujours aux petits soins ! Il y a aussi un bon spa avec des soins divers. Restaurant Zitouna extra avec beaucoup de choix et une grande qualité pour les gourmets (hors d’œuvres, entrées, tajines, chorbas, pâtes, riz, fruits, thé, desserts, pâtisserie marocaine, etc.). Tous les soirs, un très bon groupe chantait les plus beaux standards de la musique arabe (actuellement c'est Ramadan). Une belle piscine avec des transats en nombre, des salons de jardin et l'océan en face. On y reviendra à coup sûr !

I am a frequent traveller to 5* hotels and must say that this is the first time i gave a low rating. Important to know: there is a club/bar attached to the hotel premises. Unfortunately there seem to be Prostitutes booking or occupying the rooms on the weekends which meant I was woken by music through their own speakers at 5am both weekends and sex noises. I have flagged this with the reception the first night and they didnt seem to be bothered too much and after the second weekend where I communicated my unhappiness they only said they are sorry. At check out when i communicated my frustration they again responded saying there is nothing they can do about this and they hope i come back a second time sooon??? I have never experienced anything like this before and do not expect 5* resorts to tolerate this. Property feels not secure even though they got security at night and during day. Rooms are slightly outdated. Dinner buffet has dry meat every night and not much choice for european visitors. They have pop up stands for dinner that safe that experience a little bit and give you at least one decent dish. There are also very limited restaurant choices around the hotel as an alternative option. Drinks are massively overpriced at dinner and pool area and seem to be UK prices. At the pool non of the staff actually bother to offer you any drinks to order or similar. The breakfast is good in comparison to the rest of the food. Staff are friendly

This was my second and last stay at Sofitel, unfortunately it wasn’t like the last time I stayed here. Firstly like last time and all the other hotels around the stretch there’s no private beach anymore. Breakfast was included in the stay and was until 10:30 in weekdays and 11:00 on the weekends. However after 9:30 most of the items were finished and staff blatantly refused to get any for you by saying sorry croissants are finished orange juice is finished. If you are unable to replenish breakfast items after 9:30 perhaps you should keep the timing till 9:30. Poolside food is way too expensive topping it with rude staff. Won’t be returning and would not recommend

First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. There was lots of options at the breakfast buffet- I’m missing the fresh bread! Would definitely stay again for a relaxing holiday.

Terrible Experience – Definitely Not 5-Star Quality We arrived at the hotel expecting a smooth check-in at 3:00 PM, as clearly stated in the booking confirmation. However, the room wasn’t ready until 5:30 PM – over 2.5 hours of waiting with no proper explanation or apology. The staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful, showing no urgency or concern for guest comfort. The hotel does not reflect 5-star standards in any way – in fact, it doesn’t even meet the expectations of a 3-star. The rooms were outdated, worn down, and frankly, dirty. Carpets stained, bathroom not properly cleaned, and a general lack of maintenance throughout. The pool area was just as disappointing – most of the sunbeds were broken or heavily worn, and there was an overall feeling of neglect. This place has clearly not been updated or properly managed in years. For the price and brand name, this was a huge letdown. Would not recommend and will not be returning. There are far better hotels in the same area that actually value their guests and maintain basic standards of hospitality.

This property was excellent and we loved our time here. The breakfast was brilliant and had a good range and staff were very helpful! The hotel smelt amazing and was very clean and the pool and spaces to relax are awesome. Only downside is the bathrooms do not have a douche and the showers were problematic where it would be hot water then suddenly change to cold and then back to boiling hot. Also this hotel is slightly away from the main strip with restaurants (walking distance approx 1 hr) however, you can easily take a cab there for approx £4 pounds. Overall we loved our stay here and it was excellent!

Short break

This place is incredible. Photos do not do it justice. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help. The only thing I would say is you wait a while for a drink on the terrace but a party from that everything was perfect. We will be back
