Large Room from the 1990s, with an air con that I’m unsure actually works. Bed ok, sheets and pillows fairly good. Huge construction site across the road and under the flight path, but may be ok if in a rear room with the windows closed. Also room is around a 1km walk from reception, which is bizarre because surely they could use a computer there with a safety deposit box to avoid that completely. That said, North Adelaide is really nice and the concierge all but feeling like they were in a different suburb to the room, were nice.

You can always call the reception from your room for any kind of issues or assistance. We apologize for the confusion about check-in at the property. Our website as well as confirmation letter does mention that the check-in location differs from the property location, and we do provide emails and messages about the check-in before arrival. However, we will try our best to communicate well regarding the check-in before arrival in the future. The property does not have a lift and anyone with a disability or mobility limitations will struggle with the flights of stairs. The property management were unsympathetic and did not offer an alternate to placing us on the second floor.

Our website as well as confirmation letter does mention that there are only stairs and no lifts at the property. The rooms and service are excellent. But as a satellite building to the Oks Lion apartment, the Tynte St location suffers somewhat (no reception - all done remotely from the other location. This means everything is automatic - key collection (didn’t work); all communication remote (the entrance phone also not working on arrival). Somewhat lacking the human touch!

Great room and location, but AC didn’t work
Spacious and clean rooms, great location! we Checked in right before they closed and we found out the AC didn’t work until after 11pm, so it was a bit hot and uncomfortable. Bit annoying we couldn’t call “front desk” to fix it, since the Check-in desk is in an other building a couple of minutes away.

Compact and well equipped
A great little haven in North Adelaide - close to city. Quiet. Short walk to supermarket to use apartment kitchen or cafes etc for easy meals.Comfortable, cool and welcoming.

Good apartment well located
Good sized apartment well located. Staff were very helpful though not onsite, when I was locked out of my room they were there in less than 5 minutes. Bed & pillows OK (but not excellent) bathroom also good & functional but basic.

We stayed for one night because of an early flight the following day. It’s in a very nice part of North Adelaide as there are lots of options for dinner and the cinema is a short walk. The parking is off road around the back of the property but wasn’t difficult to find. Overall it was comfortable and clean and we were happy to say we would go back for our next trip to Adelaide
