「Lovely overnight stay, can’t fault the hotel, the staff are so lovely and welcoming nothing too much trouble! Beds are comfy, rooms clean and a delicious Welsh breakfast in the morning. 「Nice property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed but the morning breakfast was good. At base of hill where harlech castle sits. Good exercise! Would recommend.」

「Nice hotel, friendly owners with car parking. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was a bit "compact", not much room to move around and the bathroom was tiny. I would certainly recommend the hotel, nice location high above the town.」

「This is the second time we have stayed at The Moelwyn . Always a lovely welcome. At £70 per night for the room it was fine . We were able to bring our own food in to eat at the hotel- one evening we ate fish and chips with a bottle of wine on the terrace with a lovely view of the castle and seaside nearby - perfect 」

「The room is clean and comfortable, but the WiFi signal is very weak, and usually disconnected... The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up.... Dinner and breakfast are delicious~~ 」

「What a fantastic place! It is in a fairy tale setting and the grounds and town are beautiful! Regan is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great recommendations for places to visit and hike. The food is exceptional and the staff warm and friendly. This was our favorite spot on our 2 week long trip. Highly recommended! 」

「Large spacious room finished to a high standard & clean. Plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Bed was large & comfortable. Good central location for shops & restaurants & less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Recommend this hotel & we would definitely go back.」
