Wow—what a fabulous stay. From the moment we checked into our woodland escape lodge with hot tub, the sense of luxury was clear throughout. The double walk-in shower, deep freestanding bath, mood lighting, and plush bathrobes all added to the experience, with everything thoughtfully provided for a relaxing break. Every member of staff we met was exceptional and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant offers a well-presented menu with great options, and the grounds and setting are simply glorious. All in all, a definite 5-star stay—we’ll certainly be back.

The hotel has a unique setup with reception integrated into the bar area, though separation could improve the guest experience. It would also be helpful if room refreshing was offered as a standard service rather than only upon request.

I can’t recommend Aberdunant Hall enough, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in April 2026 for our wedding anniversary, unfortunately our son was taken ill whilst we were visiting, so we spent a lot of time at local hospitals getting him treated.
