The welcome in the pub wasn’t great, we weren’t acknowledged whilst standing with our bags in the pub. 「Don’t often leave reviews but if you want a break from the Monday to Friday hotel life, this place is ideal. Was greeted as soon as I arrived and offered a choice of rooms. The room had a massive bed and a seating area, plenty of tea and coffee and was offered fresh milk which I accepted. Breakfast was made to order, had a beautifully presented fruit salad, followed by a great fry up made with quality ingredients. Even the WiFi was great 」

「Main issues were a) the "bistro" and bar area looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Most of the dining tables had been replaced by a pool table and dart boards. Broken or unused furniture was piled up at the side of the room. After taking one look, we decided that eating here was not an option. Similar unwanted furniture etc was piled up on the stairs to the second floor. All in all, there is no way this could be described as a tidy place b) our room was immemdiately above the bar....

「Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there.」

「It is a very attractive double bayed Victorian property, with pretty gardens front and back. The interior decorations were up to date but reflected the age and style of the house. Our room was very comfortable and the amenities within the room were great. Breakfast was lovely: cooked beautifully and well presented. We would definitely stay with Dave and Liz again.」

「Lovely location by the Severn River, beside Kings School Worcester and the Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum, short walk to the cathedral and pedestrianized shopping area. Excellent restaurant with big windows overlooking the river - fine breakfast and dinner.」
