The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a very good size.
The pool water was cold for August, but, the hot tub was great.
The buffet breakfast was good, but, no meat was served. The breakfast is large.
Our nonsmoking room bedspread had cigarette burns in it.
I reported it and the desk clerk said a new one had been ordered.
Wal Mart is about 1/8th of a mile away and Wendy’s is nearby, too, all easy to get to.
We enjoyed our stay.

This felt like a bed and breakfast. We had a huge and quiet bedroom with a private bath. There was a large eating area and a large family room area adjacent to one another. A small creek flowed on the back side of the property which could be seen and heard from the back patio. Breakfast was home cooked and great. We didn't have time to explore Cuchara but enjoyed the little time we stayed at Dodgeton Creek Inn.

Very friendly staff. Got a call several hours following checkout. The housekeeper stated that we had left behind a computer tablet. Wow! What service! We were almost on our way out of town, and it was no problem to stop by and retrieve the tablet. What wonderful service. Otherwise, if one is expecting a brand new motel with pristine everything in the rooms... well, no. The room was a bit worn, like maybe it's time for an update. But the beds and furniture were clean, the bathroom and shower...

Cute and quiet place to spend the night or a week. Close to the highway and town. Beautiful sunset view. Pet friendly and a nice area to walk the dog. Herb friendly inside and outside.
