"Hotel Canoe is our favorite place to stay in Banff. We have stayed 4 times since they opened, and have loved each stay. The view is incredible, especially from the rooftop hot tubs. The hotel and restaurant teams are very hospitable. The coffee in the rooms is my favorite - fresh ground, pour over coffee:) I can’t wait to return! "

"Property makes a great first impression with friendly and helpful staff, lovely pool area, good dining. Rooms a little tight but well equipped, though the in-counter fridge was not very cold. The spa shower was 10/10. Sleep, however, was difficult. Because of its size this hotel appeals to groups and conferences and the doors close heavily, shake the walls and echo down the hall as group members go between rooms throughout the night. We were really looking forward to this stay but will not return and would not recommend. There are more comfortable sleeps in Banff at this price. "

"Room was clean and staff very friendly. Enjoyed the fireplace in my room too. Wish they had more washing machines. Not enough for the amount of guests. Was always in use when I went. "
