"There are lots of places to eat in Brighton. so if you do not fancy the food. there is plenty of choice. but if you do dine in the hotel, the food is also very good. This has become my new regular place to stay when visiting Brighton for business"

"Quick, effective checkin. All interactions with staff were positive, professional and friendly, they were all very able in doing their jobs. The only thing that lets the hotel down is that it may need updated, but that said everything works well, is clean and tidy."

"The Grand is our favourite hotel in Brighton and our first choice when we visit. The staff are always amazing - friendly, accommodating and helpful. The only issue we had this visit was both guest lifts being out of order all weekend with the whole hotel having to use the single small service lift - we were on the 6th floor so this was an unusual disappointment with an otherwise fabulous hotel."

"I chose this hotel because I assumed it would be old fashioned and full of character. So it turned out to be. It is very conveniently located. Inside is very comfortable if a little tired in places. The chairs are buttoned leather and the clientele at the time I stayed were in their golden years. Our room was very spacious but oddly shaped. It all added to the charm. Recommended."

"Spent 3 nights at this hotel had a sea view room 207 which was lovely. Parking at the back of hotel £15 per night on a first come first serve basis, friendly staff. Rooms cleaned every day and coffee tea and milk topped up plus water in the fridge. Hand wash lotion shampoo conditioner in room.A 10 minute walk down to the pier which has a large hill to walk back up. Very central. The hotel has a lovely breakfast with a lot of variety friendly waitresses , if wanting to stay in the hotel the drinks are reasonably priced. We didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening as we liked to try different places which was worth doing .well worth try Harry Ransom’s fish and chips.Tourist information near the pier to give advice. Would highly recommend exploring outside hotel but you could always use a taxi instead of walking up the hill. If we ever went back to Bournemouth we would use this hotel."
