"We had a great stay at the Brinckerhoff Inn. The property is beautiful and it was obvious how much work went into the restoration. The decor was very "Presidential" and definitely felt like you were back in the 18th Century. My husband and I had a lovely stay. "There was a wedding Sunday night when I arrived and it was a bit rowdy (vomiting in parking lot, police on scene). Otherwise beautiful, well maintained, food/drinks at bar were amazing. The desk chairs in room/suite could be improved- feel flimsy."

"From the very beginning, I was treated poorly by the front desk staff. I was told multiple times that I could not use my Hilton Honors benefits because I booked my stay through Hotels.com. In other words, bottled water, internet, and free breakfast didn’t apply since I didn’t book directly with Hilton. The staff continued to remind me that because of the rate I paid, I was essentially out of luck. The irony is that if I had stayed an extra night, my rate through Hilton would have been $150 less than what I paid through Hotels.com. If the hotel has an issue with third‑party bookings, then Hilton should not participate in those platforms. The hotel itself was nice and clean. However, from a customer‑service standpoint, I would not recommend staying here."
