Maryland Heights 4 Stars Hotels

"Check-in was at 4pm. We showed up at 5:15pm and the lobby was full of angry guests. Upon checking in, we were told our room was not ready yet due to housekeeping delays. We did not get into our room until 5:50. We had all-inclusive tickets to the Cardinals game and ran about 40 minutes late getting there because the delay at the hotel check-in. Aside from that, staff was nice, room was clean and we enjoyed the stay. Just wish they could've been on time or made attempts to make it right."

"The carpet, furniture, and curtains in the room are very outdated and in need of replacement. Upon entering, we were concerned about the cleanliness of the bed; however, the sheets were very clean, and the mattress was comfortable, which was a relief. We were told the pillows were brand new, but they were extremely bulky and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there were no alternatives available, so I had to improvise by using a towel to create a more suitable pillow to avoid neck pain. On a positive note, the towels were clean and of good quality. The carpet appears to be original from when the hotel opened around 2010 and definitely needs to be replaced. Another major issue was the noise coming through the vent. We could clearly hear conversations and other sounds from elsewhere, which made it difficult to relax. This is something we have never experienced at other hotels. The casino is fully open to smoking, which was disappointing. Other casinos typically offer non-smoking areas for guests who prefer it. Additionally, the restaurants are located within the casino, making it difficult to enjoy a meal without being exposed to smoke. On a positive note, the steakhouse was excellent—I highly recommend it. Serge, our server, provided outstanding service and made the dining experience enjoyable. Overall, while we appreciated the clean sheets and towels, everything else fell short. Unfortunately, we would not return in the future."

"Room was clean. Beds could be stand to be updates as they were not too comfortable. The water at the sink was warm to scalding hot bypassing cold altogwthwr."

"Parking was hectic, along with valet parking. This hotel needs a lot of TLC. The room I stayed in had peeling paint on the ceiling,light bulbs out, and a bathroom drain stopper that wouldn’t come up to be able to drain. I contacted the front desk about the drain stopper not working and was told that maintenance would be sent to my room, which never happened. Thankfully we only had to stay there 1 day. I would not recommend this hotel as it obviously is being neglected in many ways. "

"The continental breakfast was ok. The potatoes were hard and eggs were cold. No protein. There was a soccer tournament and National league going on so there was multiple families already there. Then the hotel had a prom like event that ranged from young to older adults that mad being in the lobby unbearable with that crowd over filling into lobby and the large police presence (because of the event). The bar and dinner is served in the lobby so there was no room. "
