"The staff were great. From the front desk to the cleaning staff. All very kind. The grounds need work and we understood the outdoors and water front were not open. The food at Dancing Bears was delicious. We love the location and will be back again. "

"We loved the Hotel Saranac. It is a beautiful old hotel located in the downtown area just steps away from shops and restaurants. Be forewarned, the rooms are small, but filled with charm, well appointed and very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is very good and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back."

"What an amazing place to stay , it’s absolutely beautiful and clean clean clean !!! There was not one spec of dust , dirt , grime anywhere !!! The corners of the floors and baseboards are spot free which are areas my eyes see especially in bathrooms, this place was spotless !!!! View of the mountains no matter which room you were in . Stayed in suite 8 which had the full view of the little park , and the most incredible view of the lake . I certainly appreciated how quiet the hotel was , we did...

"Unique location, lodge and rooms have character. Quick drive to whiteface mountain. The restaurant has a good vibe and was packed on Saturday night. Kids liked the game room. Staff was helpful when we needed some extra service in the room. "
