"This property was a unexpected surprise at the end of a long drive! Spacious but inviting public spaces, very comfortable rooms with great mattresses and pillows, a fun roof top bar that was open until 11pm on a Monday night. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely, exactly what you would expect if your mom could make perfect biscuits and scrambled eggs. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next drive!"

"Great location in downtown Athens, easy walk to all the dining, bars, shopping, etc that Athens has to offer. Hotel has some age on it, but is clean and maintained well. Only negative I will note is that the elevators arent the best- they are very slow and somewhat cramped. Other than that, its a solid place to stay. "

"In town for a volleyball tournament. The unit was close to event center and an easy travel. The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed to cook at home and relax after a long day. I may be a Volunteer fan, but I could definitely appreciate all Bulldog memorabilia. Thank s again!"

"This place is absolutely wonderful. Great. Fantastic. Treat yourself to a stay at the Gillen House. You will not regret it. A beautiful renovated 5700 square foot, 1920’s built house. Spacious rooms, incredibly comfortable beds, luxurious bath towels (I miss the towels.) Great hosts, great bkfst, great."
