"We just stay for a quick last night in Rome on our way back from Sicily and it was perfect. They arranged for our taxi to the airport room was clean. Nice location! The receptionist was peruvian made me feel like at home! "

"The property is a 2 min walk to the train station! Which is amazing if you’re forgetting to pack anything! Starbucks, pharmacy, clothes, books the works. The area around the train station/walk to hotel was daunting at first due to lots of homeless people. However there was a strong police presence around-so I felt safe as a solo traveller. Hotel was clean and staff were extremely friendly! "

"The stay here was exactly what we were looking for. A very convenient 2 block walk from the Termini to hop on any train we needed and didn’t need to drag our luggage far. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and many restaurants. The bed was quite hard, felt more like a box spring, but the room itself served its purpose. A place to leave our stuff and sleep as we were out all day exploring the city. Staff were helpful and spoke English as well. "

"Initially, I was worried regarding the hotel since the building it is in did not look like the photos - it is on the 4th floor of a shared hotel complex, that of which was pretty run down. However, when I eventually reached the 4th floor, the Floris Hotel had a clean and fresh look to it with a security door at the front. "My wife.and I were seeking a hotel close to the train station and I read a number of unsettling Expedia reviews about other hotels in the area.To our delight, none of the complaints I read about for hotels in the area were valid for the Columbia Hotel. The front desk staff especially was friendly, helpful and pleasant. Our room was large, off the street and quiet. Breakfast was very nice, served at the top floor on a pleasant terrace. We recommend it highly based on our experience"
