Uniondale 3 Stars Hotels

"Front desk was impossible to reach to address noise issue with other guests for over 4 hours. I couldn’t physically leave the room to go to the front desk in the middle of the night due to being alone with a young child in/out of sleep all night. Horrible smell in the room and hall (sewage) the entire stay. Hot tub was out of order. The restaurant wasn’t open on a Friday evening. The pool area was filthy with chewed gum and used bandaids in several areas. The room had trash present in the corner and a bathroom that didn’t look to be cleaned. The stopper in the bathtub also did not work preventing my young child from taking a bath. It was an overall terrible stay."

"We brought expensive food back to the room just to find out the room refrigerator was running on max but barely had a few spots cool at best. the rest of the refrigerator areas were not cool at all. luckily we had a cooler with us and packed it with ice to keep the food from going bad. I am a coffee drinker and before our arrival I had called the hotel to see what type of coffeemaker was in the room. It was a Keurig. So I brought some of my favorite Kcups. The Keurig was dirty and looked like it had not been clean in a long while. So I couldn't make coffee. Coffee was only available in the lobby at breakfast time. The bathroom floor was dirty in spots especially areas in front of walls. Maybe housekeeping only sweeps & mops pathways where they think people walk. these problems were reported to staff - twice even. Got one "I am sorry" as the clerk wrote on a post it note. The other time when reported, the clerk said these problems would be addressed. No one came to our room to clean the kuerig & the bathroom floor and no one came to check the refrigerator. One unreported issue was the floors must be paper thin because I could hear steps from the room above us. these steps were not quiet at all. We were disappointed for sure that reported issues were not fixed. In the elevator, a sign said Hilton guarantees issues get fixed during your stay. yeah right! the positives about our stay - bed & pillows were comfortable, the room was big and spacious. Would not stay here again."

"Breakfast was the same 3 days in a row. Oatmeal was cool and very lumpy. The fruit was all mushy. We did not use the pool. Frayed carpets, blinking lights "

"The room we stayed in was clean, everything was neat. Expedia showed that they had breakfast in the morning, however they do not serve any breakfast. There is a breakfast/dinner restaurant there, but the prices are insane. Regardless, the stay was fine for what we needed it to be. There are some fast food places around that you can walk to (dominos, rallys, etc). You have to pay $7 for parking, even though Expedia said parking was included, but it’s not. They have you use the public parking garage attached to them, which is $7 a day, not sure if you have to pay every time you go in and out though, we only stayed one night. The pool was small, but surprisingly nobody was in it. It looks pretty clean from standing above it, but if you go underwater then you’ll see it needs a good cleaning. The gym is what it is, it’s a hotel gym, so bare minimum but enough to do what you need to do. The staff seemed nice, didn’t have any issues there. Overall, compared to the other hotels in the area, this one is fine and I would stay there again if I had too. Just don’t expect anything extra from this place."
