「Well appointed home. A little further from beach access than we thought (about 5 blocks). Would have liked beach chairs and an umbrella but they are available for rent. Managers were very helpful and courteous. Pool was great. 」

「The property is very nice. I did not love that there were only 4 rolls of TP for a 6 day stay with 5 people. Communication was good and their is a family if Howler Monkeys living in the trees outside. It was a real highlight! If you don't like the sounds of construction nearby at 7 am, plan ahead. 」

「Great place, amazing view, place is on 2nd floor no elevator. Communicate was not the greatest hard to contact someone at regular number only by Emergency #. Checkout list was not listed on confirmation or told there was a check out to do list till the day before check out and do to bad reception/cell service we didn’t know till the next day.」

「Wow is all I can say! What a great property! Being able to just walk right to one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica was amazing. We loved swimming in the surf and exploring life in the tide pools. Amenities were great. I wish we would have booked a full week here. 」

「We loved the privacy and seclusion of the property. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel.」
