"Absolutely loved our stay here and wish it was longer. We booked this last minute and had no idea what to expect as Kiwis on the other side of the world. What an absolute treasure! "This was one of our favorite nights on our 2 week road trip! The owners are SO nice and we felt right at home. There was even a house cat we enjoyed petting since we missed ours back in the US. We walked to a lovely clear lake, crossed the highline 179 suspension bridge, played pool in the basement while having drinks and listening to music. The room was so cozy and homey. Neuschwanstein castle not too far (be sure and book in advance!) Wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be coming back to...

"Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer in der Dependance 2 und waren sehr zufrieden. Alles ist neuwertig, mit viel Holz eingerichtet, ruhig und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Rund um die Burg zu Fuß alles gut erreichbar. "

"Wonderful hotel in the small village of Oberstdorf. Very clean and walkable to local restaurants and bars. Hotels.com says this hotel has a bar, but it has been closed since COVID so no “bar.” That was a disappointment. You can get beer and wine from the restaurant, which is an outstanding restaurant. Breakfast is also great."
