Excellent family run hotel. Owner was lovely. Gave us some great tips for places to visit. Restaurant food was superb. All staff were lovely. The whole place is full of character and charm. Our room was lovely and we had a great view from our balcony. Nice touches such as a blanket on each balcony chair in case it goes chilly. We loved the owner. Never seen anyone work so hard. She spoke to every guest every day. Would visit again and recommend.

We were met by friendly staff during our check in. Lots of information and tips on activities. We enjoyed a great breakfast as well. The friendliness didn’t stop there. During our check out, we were also given tips on which way to go to maximize the views during our road trip. Highly recommend to others!

Amazing little hotel!

My family had a wonderful time at Hotel Maximillian! The rooms are clean, well appointed, and the beds are super comfy. The view out the window is picture perfect of beautiful mountains. The location is quiet, with plenty of parking. The restaurant is excellent! We went into town one night and paid twice as much for dinner, and it wasn't nearly delicious as the meals we had in the hotel restaurant. The best part of the hotel is the staff! Everyone is so nice and helpful-especially the owner Gabi. She took lots of time to help us find the most enjoyable things to do in the area (and there are a LOT of things to do!) We had to leave early for the airport our last day, so Gabi even had the kitchen make us sandwiches for the journey for my family. Just the nicest, most thoughtful people! If you like doing outdoorsy things, this is such an amazing area to vacation! And Hotel Maximilian is the perfect place to stay!

Fantastisk pænt og rent hotel. Vi ankom ved serveringen af aftensmad og der var kun en person til at passe både reception og servering. Derfor en noget forvirrende entre, hvor vi fik en nøgle udleveret efter omfattende udfyldelse af registreringspapirer. Værelset måtte vi så selv finde. Skønt rent værelse, men der var gennemsigtig skydedør i glas til toilettet uden lukkebeslag. Døren kørte udenpåvæggen lige op af den ene seng. Ikke særlig delikat og om natten blev hele værelset oplyst kraftigt ved natlige toiletbesøg. Alt andet fungerede perfekt, og maden var helt i topklasse.

Es un hotel familiar con excelente ubicación cercano a muchos puntos de interés y muchas actividades para realizar alrededor. El servicio y el trato del personal son excelentes, tiene amenidades para familias viajando con niños y habitaciones familiares muy cómodas. Los propietarios del hotel son muy amables y en todo momento estuvieron al pendiente, las recomendaciones para las actividades y restaurantes fueron buenísimas. La comida en el restaurante del hotel es muy buena y el ambiente es muy agradable. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y claro que regresaríamos. ¡Gracias por su hospitalidad!

Castle view, exceptional service

Beautiful views. We could see one of the castles on top of a mountain in one direction and other snow capped Mountain Views from others. Fantastic service. Even restaurant was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Maximillion is just outside Reutte. A perfect alpine spot. There were cows grazing outside our window and kids practicing soccer behind them! Breakfasts and dinners were fantastic with many local choices. We enjoyed the tasteful decor and friendly staff.
