「Air conditioning in main room missing. No instructions on how to use range top. Owner on vacation and nobody was shown how to work it. So we really couldn’t cook on it. When I got it to work after 10 minutes it shut off. 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cooks Oasis! Although the resort is a bit difficult to find, due to signage at the street having been removed, we loved the location. We checked in on a Sunday which meant the staff was not working. No problem, they got the room ready and left us a note on their reader board as to how to access our Villa. Great location - Turangi Eatery at the end of the driveway, Vili’s Burger Joint and small grocery store/petrol station just up the road. Short drive to Muri Night markets and the Muri lagoon. 」

「The rooms were clean, and the apartment setup was excellent. The pool was an absolute lifesaver in the Rarotonga heat, and overall, we had a very pleasant stay. We were unaware that air conditioning comes at an additional cost. The owner later informed us that this is stated on the Coral Sands website, but we must have missed it. This was unexpected, as we have not encountered extra charges for air conditioning at any other Pacific island hotel we’ve stayed at. During the trip, I became unwell...
