South Wellfleet 3 Stars Hotels

"Clean room, great view of harbor, great room location. "

"We liked the room for the price. There was no one at the desk after 7:00 or 8:00 pm. and not sure when they came in the morning. The staff that we did interact with were very pleasant. There was no cleaning service for the entire 3 nights that we were there. And under the bed had not been vacuumed/swept in a while (there was popcorn under it and we did not eat popcorn). The rest of the place was nice. Even though I understand that things break down, the hot tub was not working for half the time we were there. The pool was supposed to be heated but was only about 65 to 71 degrees F. They also had a few of the windows screwed open with there being a high wind and temp of about 30 to 40 degrees F. outside so the building was freezing. So we could not use the pool. The pool was nice and large with a great deep end but we weren't able to enjoy it. We also had to strip the beds ourselves and take out our own trash bags. If you didn't they would charge you a cleaning fee (at least it was implied). I would go back but at least I know what to expect, especially on the off season. And like I said not really their fault about the hot tub but"

"Pros: Room was clean and staff was very welcoming. Cons: Manager was not accommodating at all. Communication about the trip was poor. If you want to get real info from this place, you must dig and find their local number or you will not get correct info and the manager will not approve any credits for downgrades due to incorrect info. The place is dated with some remodels. In our room, bathroom was updated but the door veneer was peeling off. The door frame of our main door was broken so the safety latch didn’t work. Most door frames in the hotel were off by an inch. Window screen was broken and the refrigerator never stopped running and it was noisy when trying to sleep. TVs are not smart tvs. Cable only and no dvd player. Back entrance was regularly used for smoking. Band-aides left for a few days by the pool. Pool/spa temp not being regulated and there is a hole in the wall of the spa going to the pool. Continental breakfast was meh. Kids liked the waffle maker but that’s about it. No filtered water anywhere to refill water bottles. Rooms do not have microwaves. Overall kids enjoyed the pool. I will not be going back and do not recommend it to my friends and family unless you are out of options."

"I love this place!! Kevin the front desk person was so warm and welcoming! Our room looked out over the bay and ocean. Beautiful sunrise! P-town is so fun to roam around. We especially enjoy The Lobster Pot Restaurant and Shoppe Therapy store. We will be back . "

"No hot tub, pool but we didn’t have time. Bed was comfortable, shower was great and hot, easy access to room with ample security. "
