The location is just feet away from the hustle and bustle and the porch is a great place to have morning coffee or a night cap. Great chatting with the owner and other guests.

The rooms felt like home, not a typical vacation rental. Immaculate bedroom, wooden floors and a bed frame with posts. The person who checked me in could not have been nicer. I immediately felt at home.

The Anchor Inn was centrally location with great access to restaurants and activities. Parking was a big plus. The inn definitely needs updating and attention to the breakfast offering. The pricing was excessive for the size of our tiny room, $600+.

For my wife and I, The Anchor Inn Beach House was like going home to visit your family. May, the family dog, greeted us at the door. The staff was great, especially Michael, the owner. The front porch was inviting and you will quickly find yourself chatting with the other guests and the owners. There is parking in the back. We had a private balcony on the side of the building that gave us a great view of the bay and being there for the 4th of July, a front row seat for the fireworks. We would definitely go back.

From start to finish my experience at this venue was excellent. Had a wonderful view of the town. The room was perfect for a person on their own. The breakfast was small, but it gave you enough energy to start your day to go into town. The venue is perfectly located where you can easily walk into town or just go a little further down the walk to Tea Dance. The staff were always around during the day as well as the Inn’s mascot May who was very friendly. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the patio, but you can tell that is where a lot of people like to hang out. The regulars sell the fact that this venue is super chill and relaxing. I hope to stay at this venue when I make my next trip to Ptown.
