"The hotel is older but kept clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but they were short staffed in their gift shop and coffee shop so there were long waits. It was the perfect location for the Jailbreak SPI race but maybe not the best on the island. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The historic Crockett Hotel really put us in a great frame of mind for our Alamo tour - which was practically next door! We loved being able to walk to anything we wanted to do in the downtown area with no problem. Our King bedroom was a little small, but was nicely refurbished. The staff was friendly and was more than helpful with any questions we had. We would stay there again!"

"Great rates! Free fabulous breakfast and dinner with drinks (Including 3 free alcoholic drinks) EACH DAY! We saved big $$$ not having to eat out every meal while in San Antonio. Excellent food! Clean and comfortable room. Great indoor pool. The manager was so friendly along with the staff. Excellent location in a safe area. "
