「It was OK hotel but nothing more. I will not return for several reasons described below. Our background: retired, in our 60-s, traveling a lot around the world. Positive first: good location, beautiful building from outside, good water pressure, adequate AC, parking, free drinking water, pleasant staff. What we did not like( our personal opinion, not criticism): There is no elevator. We were on the last floor so walking up and down could be challenging especially with the suitcases. You will not...

They excelled making us feel welcome, carrying our luggage, suggesting itineraries, helping us organise taxis and making us feel genuinely valued guests. 「We liked the private hot tub, especially since the weather was too cold to swim. The room had a kitchenette, which we appreciated since there's no room service and it was 20 minute walk to town. A car is definitely needed for Sao Miguel. The room was cleaned very well, but people aren't very careful and we could see stains on the sofa even though the hotel is relatively new. There was a somewhat small smart TV in the room, but it worked well. Breakfast was basic but included with the reservation...
