"It was an above average stay for our family. Our room was quite sparse and the public areas appeared quite dated however it was perfectly functional containing all we needed and the staff were brilliant. Wifi was strong and facilities very good"

"The walls were very thin. I would wake up at all hours because of the noise in the halls or house cleaning at 7am. The rooms themselves were also outdated and made me feel like I was in a mental home. But it was close to the beach"

"It was hot in my room the only thing working with the ceiling fan I went to the desk and they told me that they already shut the AC system off because it was off season controlling how a customer feels in the room I don't think it's cool"

"I stayed at the Ausonia for a few days in mid April, 2024. I arrived by train and it was a quiet and easy walk from the station through a pleasant path, although slightly marred by the path taking a tunnel under the railway line, where drug addicts were taking drugs in an area just off to one side, making it seem potentially dangerous after dark (I left in the dark, so actually walked further along a main road to avoid this subway).
