「Simply could not have been better. Hot tub was not working but that happens and wasn’t an issue. Staff at check in was great, checkout was just as good and every single person between them was just great! Clean, quiet and wonderful stay! A solid 10!」

「Room was clean. It smelled clean and fresh. Bed was comfy. Suite had cups, silverware, can opener, wine bottle opener, and a few other things. Hot tub and pool both were functioning and nice. Breakfast had waffles, sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurt. 」

「This was an interesting stay. We prefer to avoid run-of-the-mill hotels, and this one is definitely not part of a big chain. It's decor is dated, and not luxurious, but comfortable. They have flyers giving the history of the building, the architect and it's troubled restoration. The balcony was really nice in the evening. We liked the location because it wasn't right downtown, but a few blocks away. 」

「We came to the area for a tournament and this was our home base for the week—-warm, homey and a great retreat from the gym. We mostly had breakfasts there and then late night snacks. The beautiful country drive to both Topeka and Lawrence was easy. We appreciated the quiet area! 」
