"We loved this property, perfect size for a small family base while traveling. Comfortable beds, well supplied, and a nice back yard for kids to play in! There is a railroad just a few houses down that my kids loved listening to and watching the trains!"

"We found Doritos on the floor in one closet, the oven smoked horribly when cooking biscuits Saturday morning. Parking was close but we managed to get our group in. Outdoor grill was out of gas and not usable. Interior of the house was a great space accommodated everyone but pulling up it lacked some curb appeal. Water pressure in the shower was everyone’s number one issue. However it was a great space for us. Great location for what we needed and great rate for the weekend. "

"The staff goes above and beyond to be informative and accommodating, and they’re very very nice! My wife loved the decorations and how it stands out from other hotels. We had everything we needed and have no complaints, and will stay again the next time we’re in the area! We normally stay in Gulfport but Long Beach is much nicer! "

"Very friendly staff. I traveled with my 2 daughters and 1 of my friends/their friends daughter…staff was so nice to them sometimes kids are not treated so friendly at places/hotels. Bfast was awesome- tons of choices. Pool was nice. Only a few issues: 1 of the 2 elevators was out of service. So we often had to wait. And in the gulf the buildings are up on risers- so the elevator was a needed item from the get go. Also no spot to pull in and register or drop off luggage/ people in the parking...

"We spent last night in New Orleans, so we were SO happy to get to Gulf Port and find a nice clean town and a spotlessly clean hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was fantastic. He gave us a tour of the property and made sure we were all settled in. On a 10 scale, I give The Almanett a 12!!!"
