We were one of two guests at the time so it was the nice quiet getaway we were looking for. The cabins are close together and would be perfect to book a few if you have a larger group traveling together. It was September so was getting cold but the heater and on demand hot water made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but mighty, it had everything we needed...

"Stayed here for two nights in September. Was very close to everything and had a very nice fire pit in the backyard! Cabin had ample cooking options and pots, pans and utensils. Quite a bit of traffic noise at night but didn’t notice with windows closed. Did see the Aurora here as well! Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Short drive to the Kenai Peninsula. Would definitely recommend!"

"Stayed at The Cannery because it would be close for some fishing along the river. On the day of check in, getting to the site was confusing. There were two gates, both of them being closed. The gate with the sign for The Cannery was closed with a keypad"

"Cabin was really clean and comfortable. It doesn't look like your typical "Alaska cabin," but was recently built, everything was clean, and bed was very comfortable. It was a nice stop for us after having stayed in "rougher" cabins for the last 2 weeks. It is close to Kenai river, but not within walking distance for me. You can drive down about 1 mile down to end of road and walk in about 1/2 mile. Bonus: washer/dryer inside cabin and wi-fi"
