"Staff were courteous. Bed and especially pillows were not comfortable. Pillow felt like I rested my head on a backpack full of books although I think they advertised that you could ask for different pillows. Window shade did not do a good job of blocking out light from train station. Room was clean. Overall I thought it was overpriced compared to what I paid for other hotels in Japan."

"Great location! Super convenient with access to all areas. Walkable distance to most attractions and Train Station. Quiet area with plenty of places to eat and shop. Hotel has nice amenities and free breakfast offered. Highly recommend this property. "

"The room was very spacious and there was lots of desk and counter space to spread out. However, it was an older hotel, and the lighting in the bathroom was poor. There was also a strange smell in the room (like old cigarette smoke or cooking odor), and the window would not open all of the way, but I was able to crack the window and let some air in. The view from my room was top-notch of the mountains, which I enjoyed!"
