「We arrived to find dirty dishes in the sink. I’m a chill person, so just went to the desk and asked the desk attendant to come up and get them, no problem, moving in. But then…we get to bed time. A drool stain in one of the pillows in a perfect circle and granola crumbs IN THE MADE BED! So gross. I went to the desk about this (maybe a partial refund?), but was told, sorry, there’s nothing we can do since you booked in n a third party site (Expedia). 」

「We arrived two days after a big snowstorm. We stayed there three nights. During the entire time the parking lot, including the handicap spots and loading area near the front door were completely caked with ice. It’s unbelievable to me that they would expose themselves to that liability and never take care of it. I contacted staff and they said that they had a lousy snow removal contractor. But nobody made any attempt to clear the ice that had been there for five days by the time we checked out.」

「The Fairfield is by far the best place to stay in Northfield. The rooms are clean, staff amazing, breakfast is satisfying. The best feature is the underground parking. 」
