"Not bad at all esp for the price"

"Well built, quite new, comfortable beds with nice sheets, necessities, plenty of towels, radiant heating, quiet, nestled in the trees, nicely decorated. Shades offered privacy. Close to town. Curtains need minor repair. Double queen room quite roomy, but didn't have full kitchen, just mini fridge, sink & microwave, even though our room had table & chairs for 4. Website misleading. No DW in either room - must handwash dishes or pay $50. Construction yard in front & unfinished building behind...

"I was pleasantly surprised when i first walked in. The hotel has been updated and the photos posted are of the older interior. I wasn't able to take photos to show the lobby with the updated interior and furniture. They also have a small shop with food and drinks avaliable for purchase. The beds were comfortable, staff was helpful!"

"Loved the delicious breakfast made for us each morning. Room and dining area were very clean. The only thing we didn’t like was that the rooms were very small, actually smaller than hotel rooms. Walkable distance to shopping areas. Overall was a nice stay. "

"Cute vibe, clean, comfy bed, hot water and good pressure in shower, plenty of towels. Check in at 3, (not 4 which most places are) was nice. Personal texts. Plenty of soaps and shampoos, I would add some lotion. Big frig, fan and blow dryer were nice. Only negative is the walls are very thin, I could hear our neighbor snore!"

"This is a wonderful, peaceful and gorgeous property at the end of the road in Seward. Kendall is an excellent and engaging host, and runs a beautiful establishment in a beautiful location. At times it can be a little challenging to get there since bus service doesn't run and some taxis in Seward don't like to go down the dirt road, but call Bob at 907-362-9090 and he will take you there. For us the isolation of the place made it all worthwhile. You can sit for hours and just take in the majestic...

"Hotel is a vintage building. Room was small but very clean. Bathroom was vintage but water pressure and temp were fine. It took awhile to get into the building and reach our room because we couldn’t get someone to answer the phone and give us the entry code to the building and our room. Picture on website was not an accurate representation of our room. Would not recommend if you have difficulty climbing steps. "

"Cabin that accommodates 5 very well. Nice on site activities, outside grill, firepit and laundry. We were traveling for family adventure and extended our stay at this property for 1 day. We would like to find accommodations of this quality and price in other locations. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. "

"Joy and her cabins were absolutely fantastic! She brings the perfect mix of professionalism and comfortable home vibes. We were one of two guests at the time so it was the nice quiet getaway we were looking for. The cabins are close together and would be perfect to book a few if you have a larger group traveling together. It was September so was getting cold but the heater and on demand hot water made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but mighty, it had everything we needed...
