「Wonderful old school inn.. very comfortable feeling. Room was very clean with an updated bathroom.. had cocktails in the pub.. what a great place to unwind.. had dinner in the dining room.. excellent prime rib, best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back. 」

「The rooms are spotless, soft carpets & side tables with charging lamps! Great amenities, all clean linen & soaps provided in all bathrooms. Well renovated & everything worked perfectly. Big TV in the living room & cozy living room couch set! Some big beds with multiple pillows & a fan. Very comfortable stay. 」

「It was really nice to be greeted with wine, cheese, and crackers! The owners were nice and responsive, and the location on the lake is beautiful. But the house felt like it was slanting into the lake, there ceilings were cracked and damaged, and water in the kitchen smelled strongly of sulfur. We lost power, which was not surprising, but I was surprised the owners were not prepared. No candles or flashlights, except a citronella candle.」

「They supposedly didn’t know we were coming, there was a mouse in the toilet, the floors had not been swept, they had a bunch of food and in the freezer and fridge, liquor had been out, no wifi or service, the bed sheets were dirty, no curtains on any of the windows, the doors and ALL windows were unlocked when we got there but the didn’t know we were coming? 」
