    we reserved 1 bed and was initally given 2 twins put together but with a space between, so they moved us to a different room. no elevator so tough with the luggage. bathroom super tiny. views incredible, bed comfy, very nice staff. let us keep our luggage at no charge after checkout. the area is AMAZING.…

    Disappointment was an understatement. Besides the fact that the hotel manager had some racist undertones in his talk, the staff was uncomfortably odd. Their mission is to be eco-friendly, which is great, but their mission of living in a commune & not liking tourists makes it worrisome. No TV is allowed. Men are asked to sit to pee. Music is discouraged. Going into town is frowned upon. BEWARE OF EXTRA CHARGES! The hotel insists that you eat meals with them. It is cheaper to eat meals in town than with them. Avoid! The hotel is a 30 minute hike from the closest bus stop. The bus only runs once an hour. It's just not ideal for anyone who wants to visit Interlaken. That said, the hotel is just more of a hippie hostel that has questionable beliefs/practices. AVOID!…
