It’s what you’d expect from a small budget hotel. It could benefit from some renovation/restoration but overall our stay was good. Pros: - very friendly and helpful staff - nice shared dining area with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, tea, and coffee for guests - good price for the area - great location, near the center of Interlaken; food, entertainment, shopping, and anything else you’d reasonably want to do in the area is a short walk away - the hotel and surrounding areas felt very safe - you get an Interlaken guest card which gets you benefits in the area (eg, free public transit) Cons: - washroom was in need of renovation or at least a deep clean, with visible black mold - there was a stain on the washroom door frame that resembled dried blood and should have been cleaned - walls are quite thin and sounds from vehicles outside may bother lighter sleepers - wifi was spotty and slow

Cheap hotel very well located in the city center. Rooms are small (can be noisy depending on the neighbors) and quite old but clean. There is a common living room where is a fridge and a microwave oven, which allows heating meals. Breakfast is included but as we stayed there, the only hot beverage was tea as the coffee/hot milk/ machine was out of order. No parking at the hotel, there are several ones around but are expensive.

great location, clean and comfortable

The location was great - 2 minutes to the bus and in between both train stations. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff doesn't arrive until 3pm so when we arrived early we were not able to store our luggage - however, the attached Chinese restaurant kindly let us keep our luggage in the corner at our own risk.

While the room and building was full of character and history, it was also well-equipped with plenty of space and storage for travellers. The common room for guests had snacks, tea, and coffee, as well as a large fridge. The location is great, a few minutes walk to Interlaken West station and very close to a convenience store. There's a bakery just next to the building and the Interlaken Flagship shop is just down the road.

It wasn’t the best hotel room that I have stayed at the staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a good spread with different things to eat. The room however, was not what I was expecting, the bathroom was small and had a weird smell the bed was comfortable but the blanket and pillows were a weird texture. Overall it was ok and the staff were excellent

Great location near promenade, river, and main Interlaken streets. Staff was friendly, informative, and let us store our luggage when we arrived early before check in and when we left later after check out. Breakfast was so so for the price, I preferred the coffee shop a minute away. We had the balcony room at the front and had a great view of the mountains in both directions (if the weather is clear). Only downside was a portable AC unit, opening windows was more effective but made it loud, and the room was small all around.

Harder Minerva hard to stay!

Room was small and dirty. Very small bathroom. Portable AC in room but was also blowing hot air. Bed was too soft! Very old building. No check in available between 11-3 pm, no one in reception and no information. Breakfast was good!

good and quiet location. has good amenities, common fridge, mucrowave , snacks and fruits. breakfast could is good. negative- upon our arrival, receptionist did not even acknowledge our presence and was busy talking on the phone for 15 mins. not hntil i called their emergency tel number which was next to the receptionist and thats when she got my attention. when asked, she claims thst she was talking to the manager. that evening upon checking in officially , i told the manager working that eveningwhat transpired during our arrival and she told us that she will talk to receptionist. i hope such will not happen again.

First of all, the room I stayed couldn't be locked from inside, it was incredible. Of course I told about that to the staff but he just said, "okay, we will fix tommorow, good to know that." -What? He didn't change my room even though it was not safe at all!! Also, when I asked them to keep my laggage during my hiking, they put that in the launge without any tags, no one kept an eye on the laggage though. So i picked up my bag earlier than scheduled and put them to the station locker. They should refund me because they didn't provide what thet should. One good point was the location is very close to the paragliding center and super market. In the future, even if someone gave me money and asked to stay this hotel, I definitely would not do that.
