"Good location, furnished in an inviting noncorporate way, all interaction with employees was friendly."

"Beautiful property well maintained with all the little touches that create the upscale experience. Room was a little dark—that was the only thing that wasn’t perfect. Bed comfortable and room spacious. Poolside loungers also quite comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling, great start to the day. Service was consistently gracious, warm and hospitable. "

"We stayed in an Airstream which is the furthest from the clubhouse, so the Internet connection is very bad. When I mentioned this to the staff, their response “sure the further you are from clubhouse, the worst your internet”. But how come they can’t make it better by putting mesh extension to improve it. We paid over $550/night for the stay and it was rainy and cold so it’s not ideal to walk to and hang at the clubhouse. For that price I’d expect basic facilities such as internet to be working...

"Hotel was very comfortable, very clean and hosts were welcoming. Check-in was easy since we arrived during the specified time window. Our special request was honored. We only have one improvement suggestion. The hotel detail indicated "Breakfast Included." It did not say continental breakfast, but that is all that was available. That was a disappointment. No hot food available other than instant oatmeal packs, but a lot of bread and roll choices, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. "

"The woman checking me had a lot of personality, and was helpful in the most useful ways. The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, just as they are pictured. Spacious...like a studio apartment. The showers were just, so so. They need to install shower heads with more or any options for that matter. And, a tiny fridge would not detract from the general ambiance of the room IMO. I will stay here again."

"The staff were exceptional. Courteous attentive and informed about the area. The hotel itself was very clean. The view looking out the window of on room on the first floor was not good. I did not expect a view since it was the first floor and because we reserved it through Expedia, but looking at garbage cans and constant traffic of maintenance people back and forth was not pleasant. We were not in the room much and we kept the blinds shut. Overall I would recommend the Mount View Hotel...
