"Staff were all friendly. Lobby is lovely, the rooms and the restaurant needs improvements. Our room was not serviced daily and that really bothered me since we were there 5 days. The bathroom was moldy and the tub did not drain but the shower head was excellent. So its really a mixed bag. If you can get a good rate under $200 its ok but anything more then there are nicer options. Despite its issues I would stay again bec the staff was nice its a decent hotel. "

"The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND! I got several rides to and from the airport and the university. While everyone was very kind and seemed to enjoy their job, I couldn't help notice the operation looked woefully understaffed. They're working harder than they should have to. Give them some more help. I hope they're getting paid well. "

"Hotel staff was great and helpful. the pool not so much. Unruly kids unsupervisored running and doing flips. We asked for adjoining rooms and was not able to get them. The rooms were 30 -40 late in being ready."

"I loved the historic charm and decor of the property. Plenty of onsite free parking, bar and restaurant on site, and wonderful robe for after my shower. We did have to go to the bar to get ice and a drink as there are no ice or vending machines but it was not a problem. The bathroom had a slightly odd configuration with the sink and mirror in the corner and it was rather small but it worked. Would definitely recommend and this will be our spot for our annual trip to Rochester. "

"love the many options around the property. The only thing I did not like about my stay is, i am not an animal lover. This hotel allows animals to stay over-night in the rooms. I have allergies and know this will prevent me from staying at this location in the future "
