But otherwise very good, nice updated rooms, lots of amenities which we partook in the indoor pool, hot tub and middle outdoor pool."

"We loved everything about our stay at the Salty Sea Roost!! We were not expecting to not have to bring toiletries, linens, or really anything for that manner. The owners have done a great job with everything! If you stay here, just be prepared to get your steps in. There is no elevator with multiple flights of stairs to climb. Other than that, we loved everything about our stay here! We will definitely be back!"

"An alarm went off this morning about 1:00. Don’t know why. The bushes on the driveway brushed against the sides of our truck. Worst of all was huge cockroaches that we killed. "

"The property is so cool. It is a historic site and has been brought back to reveal has gorgeous it is. It has all the character with modern touches you could want. The Blue Room is very comfortable with enough room for two to spend a cozy weekend. The location is perfect for Beaufort - it's right by the main drag, you can easily walk to shopping, dining, the ferries. And the hosts are awesome! "
