"Historic hotel! Awesome corner king room. Yes, trains go by regularly but we had no problems with the "toot toooot" bc of the RR tracks nearby. Non-smoking so theres a cute court yard out back you can go if needed, parking is there too... very convenient to Dartmouth Hitchcock also. For the price well worth it!"

"Nice, clean hotel in a great location for attending Dartmouth activities. However, soundproofing inside the hotel was lacking - you could hear all of the noise in the hall as if they were in your room and the guests above sounded like a herd of elephants. The pillows were also the worst pillows I have ever encountered in a hotel."

"Tremendous food, quiet place and close to hiking, fantastic big to drive to, and easy jaunt to Woodstock if one wishes. Do not miss the dinner - it is delicious and well portioned, or, should I let you know, most generous!! Enjoy!"

"The walkway around Sugar River with the waterfall was something very nice. Also Claire the house cat was a welcome addition. The breakfast could be improved with better sandwiches and our room location #115 did not give us privacy unless we kept the shades down all the time. The restaurant was good, but overpriced for what it was. All in all a good experience."

"Being on the third floor was inconvenient for me because of my age. Otherwise quite pleasant."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the well organized Activity Room with the coloring sheets, blocks, access to the large screen tv. We only had one issue and that was the lighting at night entering the pool area. We had mentioned at our stay in April 2023 that it made if very difficult to walk there from our condo and were surprised it was not resolved. But hopefully, the painting of the floor pool is a good sign that the renovations are under way. Other than that, we always were...

"My family enjoyed our stay very much! The outdoor pool and hot tub was a real treat before heading north to see the eclipse. My kids haven't stopped talking about our trip to Vermont! We will be sure to come back."

"Pros: - Great location for enjoying Mt Sunapee area - The common areas were great - Very easy and smooth check-in and check-out. - Great value for the price (Possible) Cons: - This wasn't an issue for me, but there is no staff on location. I didn't need anyone at all, but just in case you want to interact with a human when you check in or check out, you won't find that."

"Easy 5/5. Super friendly and helpful staff and cozy property. Outdoor pool was warm during the snow storm and the large indoor hot tub was great. Would stay again for sure. "

"The home and entire property is lovely. Our room was not in the main house but it was roomy, clean and comfortable. Loved the cute Conutry store as well. Charge a little more and include a breakfast voucher. "
