"Enjoyed my late season short stay here. Nice to have a tuning room with a platform. Close to K-1, closer to Ramshead and Snowshed. Right next to Rivershed restaurant which was nice. Late check in was easy. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Continental breakfast is what you’d expect. All told, will come back if the price is right."

class resort hotel. Unfortunately we were there on a busy weekend and the hotel was short staffed, like all other hospitality venues, so service was a little slower than we would have. The restaurants seemed particularly stressed. One waiter disappeared before bringing our entree. The manager took it off our bill and we left. Best bet is room service breakfast which was delivered on time and hot. The
spa
is pricey but lovely. Best is the perfect of the hotel right in the middle of town. "

"Great old hotel vibe. Definitely not your cookie cutter hotel. Easily can feel like you are transported to a diffrent time. Rooms with high ceilings, exposed pipes, beautiful old wallpaper, creaky floors, grand staircase. Room was very clean. Bed very comfortable. Checkin was easy, excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Complementary coffee,tea and hot chocolate in lobby. Great food nearby. Walkable distance to train station. Will definitely stay there again! "
