Berlin 3 Stars Hotels

"Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, but we were put in an accessible room, which we did not ask for, and as a result the bathroom door was a rolling slider that had gaps on the side and top. You could see (and hear) into the bathroom. Also, be advised that the hotel bar is only open Monday thru Wednesday. Overall the hotel was quiet and clean and we had a good stay. "

"I researched the area for an overnight stay. This hotel had an “8” review. I booked a deluxe queen room with a balcony or a patio. We arrived and thought the lobby was cute and clean. Our first experience with the front desk was pleasant enough. We checked in and then proceeded to our room. The first thing I noticed were the dirty filthy carpets, and the first elevator, which was closest to our room, was inoperable. We had to proceed to the far other end of the building to take the other elevator to the third floor. The room looked okayyy but definitely had not been cleaned thoroughly and the beds looked lumpy and unkempt. There was no balcony. We dropped our bags and decided to check out the rest of the hotel. The entire first floor was in a demolished state. It smelled of must and mold and there was a gaping hole in one of the walls and smoke alarms hanging by wires from the wall. We proceeded to the pool area and had to walk through construction and debris. Also having to interrupt construction workers on ladders to get through to the pool. There was no changing room, no bathroom in the pool area or near the pool area and the pool was filthy. We couldn’t even see the bottom of it. I went out to the front desk to inquire about it, and the hotel clerk was unsure if it was treated with chlorine. We just got an overall feeling that the entire hotel was not clean. Staff was unhelpful and rude when we explained why we wanted to leave. "

"We stayed for a dance competition. There was also some kinda basketball thing going on. There were lots of teen boys. They were very outta control running down hallways, yelling , slamming doors. This wen on Friday night prob till 12:30/1am. Then Saturday night same thing but i called downstairs to complain. The guy at desk was helpful said they hired a security detail because they had lots of complaints Friday night. He said he would send him up to our floor. The hotel its self was very clean. But there is absolutely no sound barriers, the doors are like paper thin. And for that reason probably would not stay again . "

"Overall, I thought it was a really well ran hotel. The front staff were great. The room and hotel itself was clean. The breakfast was decent (only complaint would be lack of knowledge regarding allergies in hot foods such as: do the sausages have wheat?). With that said, one of the kitchen staff members was awesome trying to find answers for us, unfortunately, all of the food packaging was thrown away so they had no ingredients lists. The heating/cooling combined with a ceiling fan made it easy to make the room comfortable. Location was close to highway but on a very quiet road which made for a nice quiet sleep. Overall: if we travel back to this area…we’ll stay again! "
