"The place was very nice. Staff friendly. Breakfast, ok. Bed and pillows comfy, tho the comforter could have actually fit on the king bed, more like queen size and could have been heavier. The shower was really good. My only real complaint was that the towels were OLD!! Thin and very rough "

"Staying on the second floor I didn’t like that the lights for the front drive shown straight into room and no dark curtains to keep light out. Also the heater leaked water all over the carpet. It was very quiet and clean though. "

"We had a great time!! Several families were in town for a swim meet, he were able to use the lobby to dinner. Breakfast was great, as was the outdoor basketball court and indoor pool! We will for sure stay here every year for this meet! "

"We travelled with a group of 5 couples and stayed in the Welty House, known for being part of the ghost tours in Gettysburg. The rooms were decorated in period furniture. There was a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs where we were able to gather. The beds are very firm, so this made it difficult for some to sleep. Rooms have electric fireplaces (except the Georgia room) which warmed up the rooms nicely. They moved me from the Georgia Room after the first night as the gas fireplace was...

"Nice, historic, easy walk to most anything in Gettysburg. Friendly, helpful staff. Room small but adequate; couch/folding bed was OK to sleep on once I rearranged cushions under the thin mattress pad. "
