「Our family passed by here on a trip from California to Indiana. The attitude of their staff was very good, but I had a very bad experience with the hotel. Their quilt and mattress were damp, and it felt like they were taken out of the washing machine and put on the bed without drying. It was very uncomfortable. 「Great older motel showing its age. Like all older motels, it suffers from a lack of electrical outlets, but we've learned to travel with power strips. The staff bends over backward to help. Room has many boutique features: full size coffee maker, patterned sheets, southwestern art, fleece blanket and genuine pieced quilt, list of local restaurants that aren't chain dining, complementary ear plugs (not needed). 「The staff at the time of our stay was great. But it was creepy having to check in over a computer screen, instead of in-person.
I accidentally left a $1000 medication pen in the room fridge. We were 50 miles away when I realized. When I talked to the manager, he said there were no items found, and wouldn’t even ask someone to look again. Then he hung up on me! Not a fan!」
