The hotel is right off the highway. There are place to eat right next door. We had a room with a full kitchen, everything you would need of you had planned a extended stay.

This hotel was exactly what we needed with a full refrigerator, small stove, dishwasher and all dishes and pots and pans needed to cook a meal. Everything was clean and breakfast was decent.

The room was very large and clean. Check-in and out was a breeze. Vanessa was wonderful. I think my dog kept wanting to go out just to see her! When traveling tgis route to get back to Illinois, I'd syay jere again.

Great family 2 bedroom suite!

2 bedroom suite was fantastic. Roomy with queen in each room. Bathroom outside the bedrooms but great to have the sink with a door and another door to the toilet and shower. Kitchen was good as well. Couch bed wasn’t comfy but they never are. Each bedroom even had a small closet in them with 3 TV’s in the place. We would definitely stay here again when passing through Gallup!!

Lost power which wasn’t their fault but there was no communication. Staff seemed short except for the woman working the desk in the morning. Clean hotel with really nice rooms and comfortable beds. Pool was clean and warm.

The staff at check was excellent. He found a room on the bottom floor which was what we wanted. The room was wonderful except the garbage disposal didn't work and there was no coffee pot. Not big deals. Just an FYI. We loved the room.

Rooms are tiny! TV is poorly placed. No regular coffee, just decaf, in the room. Staff, who were very friendly, said they had been out for a week. Walls are thin. Railroad on one side, highway on the other so noise all night. The friendly staff makes up for a lot of shortcomings of the property so I would stay there again. Skip Dennys and go into town to Jerry’s Cafe. New Mexican food to die for!

AVOID! Filthy - Hairs in toilet/tub/sink

Very disappointed as room was not cleaned. Dog food left in fridge, food in microwave and coffee pot covered in dust. Room was not vacuumed. Hairs in toilet and tub. Staff was very friendly. Very nice lady at front desk.

The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable. The hotel pool was not open and not advertised on the website. Would have been nice to know. Staff were nice during check in and check out. The noise from the train was a slight rumble throughout the night, but it never blew its horn, so that was nice. The road noise from I-40 was loud, especially starting about 4:00 am. We even had ear plugs in, so if you stay here, take a small sound machine to help drown out the noise. Breakfast was mediocre for a Marriott. Some kind of breakfast sandwich was offered, with waffles, oatmeal and the normal fruit, yogurt and danishes. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, maybe gravy would have been nice and more filling. Hotel was very clean, and area was safe. We would stay here again with a sound machine for sleep.

The facility is a kind of new building. The room with small kitchen is convenient for me. Only I do not understand why they charged additional charge after check-out. I found this charge when I checked my credit card statement. When I asked the front desk clerk (lady) during the check-out process, she said "no charge"; I am holding the invoice showing no charge. I hope they correct it ASAP.

The hotel elevators smelled strongly of sewage. The bathroom was so tiny that any really heavy person would not be able to enter and closed the door without stepping into the tub. Beds were poorly made so the thin blankets had to be pulled out of the bottom of the bed. The window screen did not properly fit the window. WIFI was horrible. The pool is warm and clean. Seems that many of Marriott brand properties are severely understaffed.
