"Great bang for the buck."

"The property is new and very clean. Beds are comfortable and shower is great. The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom with plenty of counter space. It was a little strange finding the front desk, since the parking garage is ground level and the front desk is 3rd floor. Follow the signs. It’s a great location if you want Honeymoon Beach, which we love. Will stay there again!"

"I was very impressed with this hotel. First and foremost the room was very clean and everything was in proper working order. I love the mid-century decor, a real throwback to HoJo’s origins. Pool was clean, though maybe s little too warm for my taste. A pool should be refreshing, not like bath water. But with a small pool in the glaring Florida sun, the water temperature will naturally rise in the summer. I enjoyed the stay so much that I went back the following week. Oh, and the price was extremely reasonable in my opinion. I’ve stayed in a few pretty awful hotels over the years that cost considerably more than what I paid per night at this Howard Johnson’s."

"The price was good. I have sensitive skin so I was itchy when resting. The mattresses are new so I think that maybe the sheets are washed with cheap laundry detergent. Our tv was out of order in room 113, so we were moved to room 109. The manager was nice when we got to the hotel at 3 am Sat. The pool and trees, shrubs are well maintained. The housekeepers and construction crew were working very hard on the property. I wish the bathtubs were refurbished/redone bec the stains scratch marks are so visible that there is no way you could sit to take a bubble bath to relax. The rooms are clean and dusted."
