"Room smelt like cat piss the breakfast was nonexistent!"

"They seem to have staffing issues. But...my, what a wonderful hotel. Great history or pop culture lessons posted in the hallways. A grand building with lovely furniture and wonderful staircases. We just took a simple room, which lacked chairs, no micro and no mini fridge. The hotel itself (with the bargain price) more than made up for this. Quiet part of town, little noticeable guest noise too. All in all, a wonderful find."

"Room has been through some stuff, super basic as expected, bed gave me back pain and this is the fourth hotel in two weeks, only one that caused back pain. The staff is in a daze and careless. Booked a single bed the gave us a double. Tried calling from the room and no one answers. Spend an extra $20 and stay elsewhere."

"This is an older motel, but provides the needs of a traveller. Two story, with external stairs and outside access to all rooms. Fits right in with retro route 66 fans. Very convenient to I40 there's a gas station just across the street. Very roomy with a comfortable bed, clean bathroom area and convenient ice and vending machines. Bath area has had many upgrades. Washer, $2 and dryer $2 available. Has a pool, but could use some maintenance in that area. Excellent breakfast, with steam table choice of sausage link or patty, warm scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, good choice of cold cereals, some fruit, choice of regular or decaf coffee, along with a variety of other drinks, waffles, yogurt, hot cereals, etc., etc., and all the condiments. Has a tricky lock and door handle. Took me 5 trys to get it to open."

"Staff very nice. Bed was clean and comfortable, room flooring (laminate)very dirty, accommodations/furniture a little run down. "

"There were dirty towels from a previous guest hanging on the bathroom door. The flooring in the room was poorly installed and loose. I had to wipe up a spill of water and it was also filthy. The continental breakfast was very substandard. Very limited selections and no water or juice."
