Shanghai HongQiao Airport Hotel
8/10 Good
"Convenient location if you transfer in Hongqiao airport and train station. But not very easy to find and long walk, don’t suggest if you have a lot of stuff. Also very thick carpet in the hallway to each hotel room, not easy to pull your luggage and I wasn’t offered to help with luggages."

"Most important thing to note is that you should not make the mistake of booking this hotel for vip access status or offers as there is a high likelihood they will not be offered. Choose the hotel for its location or other reasons. Pros: - Clean modern hotel with minimal visible wear and tear - fantastic convenient location - decent gym and great post workout change room facility - friendly housekeeping staff - comfortable bedding and pillow selection - well equipped room Cons: - front desk not as welcoming as foreigners are used to - faint smoky smell even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking - connection 12 lounge was never open whenever we tried to go - despite having open hours listed. Hotel offered coupons as a gift but they were unusable. - no help with luggage - as mentioned, Expedia status and VIP access are not acknowledged as advertised . Staff act clueless when you mention it. Do not expect to receive an upgrade or amenities."

"We loved the easy well signed access I airport. Helpful & friendly staff at hotel. Food mall in airport for dinner and a nice massage before hot showers and bed. Room spacious and clean perfect for our last night in Shanghai. Also yummy breakfast 🍳"

"We got a room with twin beds on the fifth floor. Room was nice, bathroom was clean, shops, restaurants were easy walking distance. Bus stop was in front but metro was 2.5 km. The only thing which we didn’t like was the pillows, they were too soft, it went very flat once your head lied on it,"

"I recently had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao. The location is very convenient, rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast offers great choices. Special thanks to Spawn Li, whose service was truly outstanding. From check-in to every request, Spawn was warm, professional, and attentive. Spawn even wrote taxi directions in Chinese for me, which was incredibly helpful. This genuine care made my trip memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Thank you, Spawn Li, for your excellent hospitality and kindness! The gym and pool are also nice. I look forward to my next stay."

"The location is close to the train station (a bit difficult to find). The room was very clean. The facilities in the room were excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of food. I would recommend."

"Staying at this hotel was the best choice for my work trip! Spending 4 days at the convention center doing the trade show and having my hotel just a hallway away from the venue is the best thing! Breakfast was amazing, lots of options and unique presentation. Room was large and comfortable, mattress was a bit on a softer side. The only thing I’d not recommend is dining at the hotel. Chinese restaurant was way overpriced and didn’t taste as good. I’d recommend dining out in the city. Room service was good though, we also enjoyed the coffee and dessert stand in the lobby. Overall, great experience, amazing hotel, and if I ever have to attend another trade show I will stay here again!"
