LOVED. Greeted with the manager and his cute dog- a small boutique hotel with a perfect view of Matterhorn and balcony with that same view. They also offered cute large, warm jackets to chill outside or on the balcony.

Courteous and helpful staff in this charming yet very modern boutique hotel. Everything about this place was pure comfort. I was only there for a night as part of a long, four-country trip. But I very much wish I had stayed longer.

We LOVED Hotel Zermama! The worst part of our stay was that we were only there for one night. It was clean, the staff was friendly, it was a great location, and they even provided free transportation to the train station in the morning. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Our second visit to Hotel Zermama and it is still an amazing hotel. Staffs were friendly and very helpful. We were extremely pleased as they have upgraded us to a suite room. We will definitely return to Hotel Zermama when we visit Zermatt again.

Zermama was a highlight of our trip to Switzerland. The entire staff was wonderful and attentive. Our room had an unbelievable view of the Matterhorn. We happily donned the fake fur coats to sit on our balcony and enjoy coffee in the morning as Zermatt came alive. We ate in the restaurant and found the food to be excellent. Transportation was provided to and from the train station (thank you to our driver!), which is walkable but we did not want to manage suitcases for that distance. The front desk staff were informative and we especially enjoyed meeting the little dog who spends his days in the office. We hope to visit again and highly recommend ZerMama

Fantastic experience. Great location, new and clean, great vibe in the bar and outdoor patio. Bistro dining interesting varied menu and nicely prepared with good wine selections. Staff was 110% incredible from train station pickup, bar staff, and GM. Highly recommended as a frequent traveler.

We had a great stay here. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was very stylish and cozy. A bit of a squeeze trying to open two large check in suitcases, but overall a great room. The rainfall shower head was fantastic and the hairdryer is actually strong unlike other hotels. There is no AC, but you can crack open the main windows to let in the crisp mountain air. We didn’t know until the end of our stay, but there is a hotel shuttle to and from the train station. There is a phone kiosk near the pretzel shop at the train station where you can call the hotel for a complimentary pick up. Great views of the Matterhorn and located across the street from the Sunnega funicular where you can ride up to the top for a nice hike around the five lakes. We’d stay here again!

What an amazing property. Quintessential Switzerland Chalet style hotel. Masterfully decorated. Clean, comfortable and ideally located to all attractions, restaurants and activities. Zermatt - you are a beautiful town. We will go back!

Charged for something we didn’t break.

There was a broken chair on the patio and I assumed they knew about it since it was broken when we arrived. Noticed it the first time we sat on it. The hotel had the nerve to charge me over $80 for it. We booked 2 suites for our stay and ate numerous meals/drinks at the hotel. They did not treat us right.

We were upgraded to the Matterhorn suite. It was very large with two full bathrooms and separate bedroom and living room. The balcony was wonderful. The set up for cheese fondue on the balcony with the very warm faux fur robes was perfect. My husband and I really enjoyed this magical experience.
