Top Lage, Freundliches Personal, Saubere Zimmer

Wir hatten drei tolle Tage in Zermatt. Unser Hotel war gut gelegen, und mit dem Bus waren die verschiedenen Skigebiete gut erreichbar. Das Morgenessen entsprach unseren Bedürfnissen. Wenn es eine Beanstandung gäbe, wär der Lärm durch Partygänger hervorzuheben. Aber man kann nicht Zentral wohnen, und noch eine ruhige Nacht verlangen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit.

Stay was excellent, hotel was close by to everything ( train station - 10 mins, Matter horn cable car - 15 mins walk, Spar express market - next door ) The receptionist/manger was so friendly and very helpful, I recommend this this hotel to all

Great stay

The bed and comforter were super comfortable. The room and balcony were very spacious. It’s an older hotel but it’s cute and everything works. I didn’t get a chance to visit the sauna but it looks new and clean. Service staff were amazing. Wifi is very weak and unreliable.

Best Kept Secret

Second stay in Astoria, Great location between sunnegga and furi ski lift. Famous bakery Fuchs and the groccery store right outside the hotel. And of course the best kept secret... the spa. Looking forward to come back!

Traumhaftes Zimmer in Zermatt!

Wir hatten ein schönes grosses Zimmer mit Terrasse und Ausblick aufs Matterhorn, traumhaft!! Kostenloser Transfer zum Bahnhof ist hier natürlich selbstverständlich. Natürlich kostenlos, was andere Anbieter nicht verstehen, ist die Freundlichkeit des Chefs und aller Mitarbeiter. Wenns nach Zermatt geht, kommen wir sicher wieder!

Grand Old Hotel in need of TLC!

This hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. All the fittings are old and the rooms incredibly dark. The lighting is totally inadequate. We had to use the torch on our phone to see in the wardrobe! No lounge or bar and front door locked at 22:00. Breakfast was adequate at best However; it was very clean and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. There is a good ski room We did not use the Wellness centre so can’t comment. It’s position in the town is good and handy for most things. Pleasant and helpful driver to shuttle you and luggage to and from station. This was obviously once a grand hotel in the middle of Zermatt but has seen little if any investment this century.

清潔で部屋は広いし、夜は静かで快適でした。冷蔵庫はありましたが身にバー専用のため、ベランダに飲み物を置いて冷やしました。ポットもありましたので暖かい飲み物は飲めました。WIFIの速度があまり早くないのは仕方ないかなと思いました。 天気が良く、マッターホルンが良く見える橋に近く、毎日撮影できました。

Probably the best choice and value for a tight bud

I was very impressed with this place! I enjoyed my stay very much.. I arrived early around 10am and they allowed me to check in early. Woman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have a great view. Breakfast also was better than I expected and the coffee was great!

Gemütlicher Aufenthalt

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, sehr nahe vom Zentrum. 10 min vom Bahnhof entfernt. Man wird vom Hotel abgeholt. Tolle Tips von der Reception bekommen. Wellneslandschaft klein, aber sehr schön und gemütlich. Schöne Aussicht auf das Matterhorn.
