「Lovely hotel, previously stayed when it was Lacanda san Barnaba and the upgrade is really great, whilst still keeping the originsl ceiling frescos and other features. Great new updsted bathrooms. Great communal areas as well as fab breakfast. Only slight niggle was not much hanging space and no drawers but easily manageable. Overall a great stay」

「Cute room, decent bed, coffee pods and machine supplied. Noticed that fridge and heating didn't seem to turn on but didn't need either. Handy cafe below with discount for staying. Would stay again. Handyman Noel is very friendly and looks after property well. 」

「This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. 」

「Staff were very kind and helpful and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, a stocked fridge and toiletries. There was a beautiful terrace overlooking the Great Canal where they served great food. I highly recommend this hotel and will add it to my itinerary on my next visit.」

「A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? 」

「We liked the location. It was close to many attractions and restaurants. The apartment was big enough for us and there was a high chair and a pop up baby bed in a closet. However, the check in was difficult and we never received any fresh towels. After 5 days, we had several bags of trash that needed dumping and we couldn’t get a hold of anyone to bring us more toilet paper. We felt frustrated that we had to purchase paper towels to help us keep the kitchen tidy since there were no towels....

「The 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit on the ground floor was spacious for a family of four. We loved the large bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cups, and pots and pans. The only drawback was with the communication with the host. I would ask questions about the unit or the check in process and for DAYS, no response. I was getting nervous because I received no information how to get in the unit with less than 5 days to go. With my other stays in Rome and Florence, the...
